Research interests: the history of folklore studies, intangible cultural heritage, and everyday culture. I enjoy archival studies and field research. Also interested in cultural policy issues and international cooperation. Has been at IFLA since 2004 and was Head of the Latvian Folklore Archives from 2013 to 2024.
