Research interests: the history of folklore studies, intangible cultural heritage, and everyday culture. I enjoy archival studies and field research. Also interested in cultural policy issues and international cooperation. I have been at ILFA since 2004, and I was Head of the Archives of Latvian Folklore from 2013 to 2024.
