Project Objective:
To prepare 295 project proposals evaluated above the quality threshold, ensure participation in the ERIC consortia: MIRRI, ESS, CLARIN, and DARIAH, and promote cooperation in the field of quantum computing with the Quantum Software Research Center (Netherlands) and the Paris Quantum Computing Center (France).
Main Project Results:

Ensured Latvia’s participation in the MIRRI, eLTER, ESS, CLARIN, and DARIAH consortia;

Preparation of project proposals evaluated above the quality threshold in the programmes Horizon Europe, the 10th Framework Programme, Partnerships, and other initiatives.
Main Project Activities:
The main planned activities of the project include the preparation of high-level project proposals evaluated above the quality threshold within Horizon Europe, the 10th Framework Programme (10FP), and Partnerships, through cooperation among five partners:
the University of Latvia (UL), the UL Institute of Solid State Physics (UL ISSP), the UL Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science (UL IMCS), the UL Institute of Literature, Folklore and Art (UL ILFA), and the UL Banking Institution of Higher Education (UL BIA).
Six national partnership plans are foreseen:

Participation in the Common Language Resources and Technology Infrastructure consortium (CLARIN-ERIC);

Participation in the European Social Survey consortium (ESS-ERIC);

Participation in the Microbial Resource Research Infrastructure consortium (MIRRI-ERIC);

Participation in the Integrated European Long-Term Ecosystem Research Infrastructure (eLTER);

Participation in the Digital Research Infrastructure for the Arts and Humanities (DARIAH-ERIC);

Implementation of an action plan to ensure cooperation in the field of quantum computing.
Expected Main Result:
At least 295 high-level project proposals evaluated above the quality threshold within the Horizon Europe, 10th Framework Programme, and Partnerships initiatives.
