Contemporary Folklore Research
My research interests lie in contemporary cultural phenomena and vernacular cultural practices rooted in folklore, traditional culture, and mythology. Taking an interdisciplinary approach, I explore intersections between folkloristics, memory studies, and postcolonial critique. I earned my PhD in folkloristics from the University of Tartu, which has further strengthened my commitment to international collaboration. I have been affiliated with the ILFA since 2015.
