Cultural Gerontology in Latvia: Exploring Creative Perspectives Towards Integrating the Humanities and Gerontology
Since obtaining my Bachelor's degree from the Latvian Academy of Culture, I have explored the phenomenon of societal aging from various perspectives, paying particular attention to how this issue can be viewed through the lens of cultural gerontology. Even now, as I begin my doctoral studies, my interest in aging—and in the methodological possibilities for approaching it from a humanities perspective—remains undiminished.
