Dark mythology in contemporary art
Please help us document Baltic and, in particular, Latvian contemporary artworks that feature references to chthonic mythology—themes and creatures of the afterlife, like witches, ancestral spirits, devils, riding hags, and similar beings.
By participating, you agree that the submitted images will be used for scientific research. Low-resolution versions of the images will be visible in this gallery, while full-resolution files will be stored in a closed environment on the ILFA server. Their metadata will be deposited in the Latvian research data repository datavers.lv.Any further use of the images is permitted only with the prior consent of the artwork’s author!
