Zita Kārkla is participating in a conference dedicated to motherhood

Zita Kārkla is participating in the conference “Thinking through Motherhood: Images, Experiences and Narratives Across Time”.

From January 23 to 25, an international conference dedicated to motherhood is taking place in Vilnius, Lithuania. Among the participants is Zita Kārkla, researcher at the Institute of Literature, Folklore and Art of the University of Latvia (LU LFMI), with the paper “Vulnerability and Interdependence: Matrifocal Narratives in Contemporary Latvian Literature”.
