Youth Garden Festival

Last Saturday, July 29, the Youth Garden Festival took place in the outdoor area of the Pārdaugava Creative Centre at 24 Lapu Street. Throughout the day, visitors had the opportunity to explore the history of the neighbourhood, take part in creative workshops, view the exhibition “Hidden Pārdaugava,” and enjoy music.

Researchers Gatis Ozoliņš and Una Smilgaine from the project “Experience in the City: Narratives, Memories and the Heritage of Place” (No. lzp-2020/1-0096) also participated in the festival, introducing visitors to the project and sharing stories and photographs collected within its framework.

The exhibition “Hidden Pārdaugava,” located next to the Pārdaugava Creative Centre building, will be on view until October 15 of this year.
