We invite you to apply for the 7th Baltic Summer School of Digital Humanities

Applications are now open for the 7th Baltic Summer School of Digital Humanities titled “Digital Methods in Historical Research”, which will take place from August 4 to 8 in Riga, at the House of Science, University of Latvia (LU).

The school will focus on topics relevant to historians, students, and anyone interested in researching history and the humanities using digital methods. Lectures and workshops will cover:

  • Handwritten text transcription processed with artificial intelligence

  • Network visualization and historical networks

  • Spatial analysis and mapping (GIS)

  • Hands-on exploration of new AI technologies

The program is still being updated.
