The festival “PAGE BREAK” will take place

On the evening of April 26 at 19:00, the closing poetry concert of the 4th International Poetry Festival “PAGE BREAK” will take place at the “Splendid Palace” cinema, featuring all festival participants performing poetry readings accompanied by contemporary jazz music.

The festival, held in Riga for the first time from April 23 to 26, will feature many internationally acclaimed and currently prominent poets in the global poetry scene: Ukrainian-born poet Ilya Kaminsky from the USA, Colombian poet Ramona de Jesús, Welsh author Marged Tudur, Indian poet Sujata Bhatt, Alvin Pang from Singapore, Gonca Özmen from Turkey, Kayo Chingonyi from the UK, Michael Augustin from Germany, Marcin Sendecki from Poland, Anna Hallberg from Sweden, Sabine Venar from France, María Sevilla Parra from Spain, and Marianne Larsen from Denmark.

Latvia will be represented by Ingmāra Balode, Toms Treibergs, and LU LFMI researcher and poet Ivars Šteinbergs.

All festival events are free of charge.
