The competition for the academic position has concluded (on May 8)

The competition for an academic position at the Institute of Literature, Folklore and Art of the University of Latvia (LU LFMI) has concluded.

On May 8, 2024, the Scientific Council of LU LFMI, in a closed vote, elected Aigars Lielbārdis to the position of Leading Researcher in the Humanities and Arts, in the field of Music, Visual Art, and Architecture, subfield of Latvian Folklore Studies, with a specialization in vernacular cultural practices and archival methodologies.
