Participation in the Conference "Literature in Eras of Conflict: Ideology and Ethics"

On October 17–18, in Vilnius, the Lithuanian Institute of Literature and Folklore is hosting the conference “Literature in Eras of Conflict: Ideology and Ethics”. The Institute of Literature, Folklore and Art is represented at the conference by three researchers:

  • Artis OstupsPoetics of Witnessing: Paul Celan and Knuts Skujenieks (Liecināšanas poētika: Pauls Cēlans un Knuts Skujenieks)

  • Ilze Ļaksa-TiminskaThe “Woman Question” in Latvian Soviet Prose of the 1920s (“Sievietes jautājums” 20. gadsimta 20. gadu latviešu padomju prozā)

  • Jānis OgaMeetings of Likeminded People in Latvian Short Stories from the 1960–1970s (Domubiedru tikšanās 20. gadsimta 60.–70. gadu latviešu īsajos stāstos)
