Literatura.lv representatives visit the Mērsrags Science festival

Members of the literatura.lv team – Paula Lāce, Elīza Paula Graudiņa and Eva Eglāja-Kristsone – took part in the Mērsrags Science Festival “Mērsraga ābols” on 15 August.

“Together with festival visitors, we explored various aspects of literature and literary research through games and creative activities: we matched parts of book titles, identified writers from photographs, tested our reading habits with a game of bingo, played a book-cover memory game, and got creative with images from the literatura.lv database,” says Elīza Paula Graudiņa.

During the event, Graudiņa also visited the Kurzemes Radio mobile studio, where she spoke in greater detail about both literatura.lv and the Institute of Literature, Folklore and Art of the University of Latvia.

The festival was organised by the Mērsrags community of active residents and the association “Piestātne”.

Participation in the festival took place within the framework of the project “Latvian Literature as Belonging: Personalities, Poetics, and the Public Sphere (LITBEL)”.
