“LFK Recommends” – Archives of Latvian Folklore YouTube Playlists Now Publicly Available

The Archives of Latvian Folklore has made public a set of curated YouTube playlists featuring examples of Latvian popular music that include references to or are inspired by folklore.

The playlists are arranged by decade, beginning with the 1960s–70s, and offer a historical overview of how folklore has influenced Latvian popular music through time.

This initiative is part of the celebration of the Archives of Latvian Folklore’s centenary. Listeners are invited to explore, reflect, and enjoy the cultural connections presented through music.
