Kitija Balcare is participating in the Environmental Humanities Doctoral School in Norway

From 3 to 7 June 2024, the doctoral school in environmental humanities “Environmental Storytelling Across Media” takes place in Trondheim, Norway, with the participation of Kitija Balcare, research assistant at the Institute of Literature, Folklore and Art of the University of Latvia (ILFA).
The doctoral school focuses on sustainability, the relationship between art and ecology, climate justice and environmental activism, as well as research methods in the environmental humanities. It is organized by the Norwegian Researcher School for Environmental Humanities (NoRS-EH) in cooperation with the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU).
The event brings together PhD students and early career researchers from a wide range of disciplines and countries, including Norway, Sweden, Poland, the USA, the Netherlands, the UK, Portugal, Germany, Tunisia, Switzerland, Spain, and China.
Participation in the doctoral school is supported through the ERASMUS+ mobility programme with the support of the University of Latvia.
