Ivars Šteinbergs’s Doctoral Dissertation Defense Will Take Place on November 27

On November 27, 2023, at 1:00 p.m., at a public session of the Doctoral Council of the Latvian Academy of Culture (LAC), held in Riga, Ludzas iela 24, Room 25, Ivars Šteinbergs, a researcher at the Institute of Literature, Folklore and Art of the University of Latvia (UL ILFA), will defend his doctoral dissertation entitled “Latvian Poetic Translation in the Soviet Period: Cultural Translation and Translation Strategies” for the award of the doctoral degree (PhD) in Art Studies.
