Ivars Šteinbergs has been awarded a doctoral degree

On November 27, at a public session held at the Latvian Academy of Culture, Ivars Šteinbergs, a researcher at the Institute of Literature, Folklore and Art of the University of Latvia (UL ILFA), defended his doctoral dissertation entitled “Latvian Poetic Translation in the Soviet Period: Cultural Translation and Translation Strategies” and was awarded the doctoral degree (PhD) in Art Studies.
