Inguna Daukste-Silasproģe and Kārlis Vērdiņš have been included in the longlist of the Latvian Literature Award (LALIGABA)

We are delighted and proud of our colleagues who have been included in the longlist of the Latvian Literature Award (LALIGABA).

Inguna Daukste-Silasproģe’s monograph “Voices Across the Sea” (Dienas Grāmata) has been recognized among the most outstanding works in literary studies, while Kārlis Vērdiņš’s poetry collection “Lībiešu balādes” (Livonian Ballads, Neputns) has been longlisted in the category of Best Poetry Book, and his children’s book “Jandāliņš” (liels un mazs) appears among the Best Works of Children’s Literature.
