In the media: “Researchers of Latvian realism: This is the right moment to study the trauma of our past"

Researchers Artis Ostups and Zanda Gūtmane from the project “Reclaiming Latvian Realism: Literary Innovation as Identity Quest”, implemented at the Institute of Literature, Folklore and Art of the University of Latvia, have turned their attention to research on realism and trauma studies. In a conversation with LSM.lv, the researchers explained how an understanding of these issues can refresh our perspective on contemporary realities.
