IDEUM Summer School

Applications are now open for the summer school “Landscapes of a Resort City: History, Culture and Environment,” which will take place from August 22 to 25, 2023, in Liepāja.

Bachelor’s, Master’s, and PhD students from various Latvian universities whose research interests focus on identity, history, culture, and environmental relations are invited to apply.

Participation fee: free of charge
Travel: participants cover their own travel expenses
Accommodation: comfortable, fully equipped rooms at the dormitory of Liepājas Universitāte (1–3 persons per room)

The summer school is organised by the Latvijas Universitātes Literatūras, folkloras un mākslas institūts, the Institute of Contemporary Art, Design and Architecture of the Latvijas Mākslas akadēmija, the Latvijas Kultūras akadēmija, Rēzeknes Tehnoloģiju akadēmija, and Liepājas Universitāte.
