Haralds Matulis on internship at the DH Lab in Lisbon

In the autumn of 2025, Haralds Matulis, a research assistant at the Institute of Literature, Folklore and Art of the University of Latvia as a doctoral student at the University of Latvia is undertaking a multi-month "Erasmus+" internship at the DH Laboratory of the NOVA University Lisbon in Lisbon, learning from their research in the field of spatial humanities and sharing his own expertise in text analysis using computational methods and large language models in humanities research.
