Haralds Matulis and Dāvis Eņģelis Talk About Digital Humanities at Riga Centre Humanities Secondary School

On 12 December 2024, LU Institute of Literature, Folklore and Art digital humanities researchers Haralds Matulis and Dāvis Eņģelis visited Riga Centre Humanities Secondary School, where they met with students interested in the humanities. The seminar focused on how digital methods are used in research across fields such as history, literature, and music, as well as on the digital tools and databases developed by the institute.

The seminar was held within the framework of the projects Latvijas 20.–21. gadsimta vēsture: sociālā morfoģenēze, mantojums un izaicinājumi (VPP-IZM-Vēsture-2023/1-0003) and Atvērtas un FAIR principiem atbilstīgas digitālo humanitāro zinātņu ekosistēmas attīstība Latvijā (VPP-IZM-DH-2022/1-0002).
