Guntis Pakalns will participate in the Ansis Gulbis anniversary conference

On November 24, the Tukums Library will host a conference dedicated to the 150th anniversary of the Latvian publisher and writer Ansis Gulbis, entitled “Local Native Ansis Gulbis and Publishing in Kurzeme.”

The conference will also feature Guntis Pakalns, a researcher at the Institute of Literature, Folklore and Art of the University of Latvia (UL ILFA), with the paper “Local Native Anss Lerhis-Puškaitis and the Publishing of Fairy-Tale Books.”
