Ginta Pērle-Sīle will take part in a conference at the Smiltene Local History Museum

On February 20 at 11:00, a conference organized by the Smiltene Local History Museum will take place at the Smiltene Secondary School Library. The event is dedicated to historically significant events and sites in Smiltene and its surroundings across various periods. The conference will summarize the museum’s research activities carried out in 2023 and outline upcoming research projects for this and the following years.

Among the speakers will be Ginta Pērle-Sīle, researcher at UL ILFA, who will deliver a presentation on Friedrich Daniel Wahr, pastor of the Palsmane and Aumeisteri congregations, and his contribution within the cultural-historical context of the late 18th and early 19th centuries.
