Final Seminar of the Folklore Revival History Research Project

On Friday, December 27, from 13:00 to 14:00 (EET), the final seminar of the project “Folklore Revival in Latvia: Resources, Ideologies and Practices” will take place on Zoom.
The seminar marks the conclusion of a three-year study on the history of the Latvian folklore movement during the 1970s–80s, within the context of the Soviet Union and leading up to the restoration of Latvia’s independence.
Researchers will present an overview of the project’s course, key developments, findings, and future plans, as well as the created resources and both scholarly and public-facing results.
The Zoom link is available on the LU LFMI website.
The project is funded by the Latvian Council of Science (project No. lzp-2021/1-0243).
