Eva Eglāja-Kristsone shares her experience with teachers

The State Education Development Agency, within the framework of the European Social Fund Plus project “Development of a Professional Support System for Teachers”, in cooperation with the Cēsis Municipality, organized a conference titled “Art and Culture as a Strategy: For Thinking, Creating, and Humanity” in Cēsis on April 30, 2026.

At the conference, leading researcher and director of the UL Institute of Literature, Folklore and Art, Dr. philol. Eva Eglāja-Kristsone, delivered a masterclass titled “THE CITY AS TEXT: LITERATURE, IMAGES, AND CULTURAL MEMORY IN THE LEARNING PROCESS,” sharing her experience from working on an exhibition developed within the framework of the FLPP project “Walking Through Time: Flânerie and Modernity in Latvian Interwar Culture” (lzp-2022/1-0505).
