DHELI closing seminar
On 27 November from 12.30 to 17.00, the closing seminar of the State Research Programme “Digital Resources for the Humanities” project “Development of an Open and FAIR-Compliant Digital Humanities Ecosystem in Latvia (DHELI)” (No. VPP-IZM-DH-2022/1-0002) will take place in the Library Science Reading Room of the National Library of Latvia (Room 819).
The event will open with a presentation by Sanita Reinsone (UL Faculty of Humanities, DHC) titled “The Impact of State Research Programmes on the Development of Digital Humanities in Latvia”. This will be followed by reports from the CompLing, CompLit, and CompFolk working groups on the most significant research results achieved during the project, improvements made to existing DH tools and resources, and new resources developed over the course of the project.
The concluding part of the event will feature two panel discussions: “Changes in DH Education Driven by Language Technologies and Artificial Intelligence” and “The Future and Challenges of DH: Ideas for Further Research.”

In preparation for the panel discussion “The Future and Challenges of DH”, we would appreciate it if you could fill in this survey on future plans and ideas. The results will be presented and discussed during the conference.
