Competition for Academic Positions Concluded (23.10.2024)

The competition for academic positions at the University of Latvia Institute of Literature, Folklore and Art has concluded. On October 23, 2024, the UL ILFA Academic Council voted by secret ballot on the candidates:

Ilga Vālodze Ābele was elected as Research Assistant in the Humanities and Arts, in the subfield of Latvian Folklore within the field of Music, Visual Arts, and Architecture, specializing in the study of cultural processes — particularly cultural practices and the history of folkloristics.

Elīza Paula Graudiņa was elected as Research Assistant in the Humanities and Arts, in the subfield of Comparative Literary Studies within the field of Linguistics and Literary Studies, specializing in the study of historical and contemporary cultural processes in literature in regional and comparative contexts.
