Call for Applications: Researcher Academic Position (until 20.01.2025)

In line with its Strategy (2022–2027), the Institute of Literature, Folklore and Art of the University of Latvia (LU LFMI) announces a call for applications for part-time academic positions in the field of humanities and arts:

• Researcher in the subfield of ethnomusicology within the field of music, visual arts, and architecture.

• Researcher in the subfield of Latvian folkloristics, specializing in cultural process research – cultural practices and heritage studies.

• Research Assistant in the subfield of Latvian folkloristics, specializing in cultural process research – cultural practices and heritage studies.

• Research Assistant in the subfield of comparative literature, specializing in postcolonial studies and the analysis of contemporary cultural processes in literature within the Baltic and comparative context.

Remuneration:

• Researcher: starting from EUR 525/month (gross)

• Research Assistant: starting from EUR 450/month (gross)

• Copy of a document certifying scientific qualification
