Call for Applications for Academic Positions (Deadline: June 9, 2025)

The Institute of Literature, Folklore and Art of the University of Latvia (UL ILFA) announces a call for applications for academic positions in accordance with the UL ILFA Strategy (2022–2027):

• Senior Researcher (part-time) in the humanities and arts, field of linguistics and literary studies, subfield of literary theory, with a specialization in gender and sexuality studies;

• Researcher (part-time) in the humanities and arts, field of linguistics and literary studies, subfield of comparative literature, with a specialization in literary theory (trauma studies and narratology) and an additional specialization in 20th and 21st-century Latvian literature.

Gross monthly salary:

• Senior Researcher – starting from EUR 630

• Researcher – starting from EUR 525

• Application letter

• Curriculum Vitae

• Copy of a document certifying academic qualification

• List of scientific publications (2019–2025)

• Research proposal for the 6-year election period
