Call for applications for academic positions

The Institute of Literature, Folklore and Art of the University of Latvia (ILFA), in accordance with the ILFA Strategy (2022–2027), announces a call for applications for the following academic positions:

• Research Assistant (part-time) in the field of Music, Visual Arts and Architecture, subfield of Historical Musicology, specialising in the history of Latvian music criticism and digital humanities;

• Researcher (part-time) in the field of Music, Visual Arts and Architecture, subfield of Cultural Theory, specialising in posthumanist theory.

The remuneration for the position of Research Assistant starts from EUR 7.95 per hour (gross). The remuneration for the position of Researcher starts from EUR 20.00 per hour (gross).

Applicants are required to submit the following documents: an application, a CV, a copy of a document certifying their academic qualifications, a list of academic publications (2020–2026), and a statement outlining their prospective research activities for the six-year appointment period.
