Aigars Lielbārdis participated in a conference on charms

From 29 August to 1 September this year, the annual conference organized by the Committee on Charms, Charmers and Charming of the International Society of Folk Narrative Research (ISFNR) took place in Singapore. The conference was dedicated to the performance and materiality of charms and was titled “The Materiality and Performance of Charms.”

Within the framework of the project “Experience in the City: Narratives, Memories, and Place Heritage” (No. lzp-2020/1-0096), folklore researcher Aigars Lielbārdis participated in the conference with the paper “Development of the Tradition: Distant Healing.”
