A competition for academic positions has been announced (applications open until March 1, 2024).
The Institute of Literature, Folklore and Art of the University of Latvia (UL ILFA), in accordance with the UL ILFA Strategy (2022–2027), announces a competition for the following academic positions:

Leading Researcher in the Humanities and Arts in the field of Linguistics and Literary Studies, subfield of Latvian Literary History, with a specialization in the study of exile and post-exile cultural processes and the interaction of Latvian and other national cultures;

Leading Researcher in the Humanities and Arts in the field of Other Humanities and Arts, including Creative Industries, with a specialization in Ecocriticism and Environmental Humanities.
The starting salary for the position of Leading Researcher is from EUR 800 per month (gross).

a copy of the document certifying scientific qualification,

a list of scientific publications (2018–2024),

and a vision statement for the planned research for the six-year election period.
